ILLUMINATE YOUR EVENT WITH WIRELESS CONTROLS

Wireless LED equipment is a type of lighting instrument that has battery packs and wireless controls built into them. They can be used instead of traditional LED uplights. LED lights are a highly efficient lighting option, and can produce light 90 percent more efficiently than incandescent light bulbs.

Current LED uplights can last about 8 to 10 hours on one charge and can be recharged to use again if your event will be held over multiple days. The battery packs can be collected and charged overnight so they are ready to be used again the next day.

You can use Wireless LEDs in a similar fashion to other event lighting options, without being limited by the location or number of outlets or power sources. They can be used to:

  • Create an effect or an atmosphere
  • Enhance the existing look of the space
  • Highlight special scenic pieces, columns, or architecture

UPLIGHTS FOR AREAS WITHOUT POWER

Some venues or event locations can limit your options of where you can place traditional wired LEDs. If you are holding an outdoor event, this is even more likely to be the case. Wireless LEDs can be set up in spaces that don’t have power, like outdoor venues or beach areas.

Additionally, wireless LED lights eliminate potential trip hazards caused by wires on the floor. This makes them a safer option to traditional LED uplights, which require wires to be taped down on the floor. This can be problematic if you’re planning an event with a large audience.

Wireless LED lighting requires less setup time than traditional LEDs because there is no need to handle wires. The result is a much cleaner look, since there won’t be as many wires visible throughout the venue. This can increase the production value of your event.

LIGHTING FAQS

IS THERE A DIFFERENCE IN PERFORMANCE BETWEEN WIRELESS AND TRADITIONAL LEDS?

No, wireless LEDs perform just as well as traditional LEDs. They still have all of the full capabilities of regular LED uplights in terms of having the ability to control and change colors throughout the event. The only difference is that they run on a battery pack instead of being plugged into a power source.

HOW MUCH DO WIRELESS LEDS COST?

Wireless LEDs do cost more than traditional LEDs. They can cost between $130-150 each, whereas a wired LED may cost around $70.
